Cebu’s creative pulse has always been unmistakable. This July, it thumped louder than ever as Baicon 2025 unfolded at Plaza Independencia on July 18 and 19. The country’s largest gathering of creators returned bigger and brighter, and for the first time, it was free and open to all. The festival turned the plaza into a living storybook where memes found their way into meet-and-greets and where community felt as festive as a neighborhood fiesta.
In this swirl of color and culture, Islands Souvenirs entered the scene not simply as a brand, but as a creative partner. The company was named the official merchandise provider of Baicon 2025, and together with the organizers, it launched an exclusive collection designed to capture the festival’s playful spirit.
The line featured limited-edition caps, totes, shirts, and sticker packs, each piece pulsing with the same vibrancy as the creators it honored. These items were more than souvenirs. They were small canvases of identity, tokens that let fans carry the festival’s energy long after the stages quieted.
Baicon itself was a festival of variety. Food vloggers, fashion tastemakers, humorists, drag performers, and local Cebuano personalities all took part. The program stretched across two days with performances from Rocksteddy and Renée Dominique, themed dinners where guests dressed as Pixar’s emotions, interactive games inspired by Squid Game, and local food highlights including Onlypans’ famous tacos from Manila. Every corner of the event seemed to echo with the playful, unpredictable world of creators.
Within this environment, the Islands Souvenirs x Baicon 2025 collection fit naturally. Shirts and caps were designed for festival wear, while totes and stickers provided everyday ways to carry the Baicon identity. Each product offered a small piece of the community that came together for two extraordinary days in Cebu.
For Islands Souvenirs, which has long transformed souvenirs into creative expressions, the partnership was a continuation of its philosophy. For Baicon, it was a way to gift the festival’s essence back to its audience. Together, they created something that felt less like merchandise and more like participation.
When the festival ended and the crowds dispersed, the collection remained as a reminder of a moment when the Philippine creator community felt limitless.
